Resource Center in Outback

On February 22nd we will be inaugurating the resource center in the city of Arcoverde. We will be using the auditorium of a hotel two blocks from the center for the special service. We appreciate all prayers as this will be a busy time setting things up and we seem to have a lot of basics that we are looking to God to supply before then. As of now we have about 50% of the needed furnishings and equipment.

We praise the Lord that our first church plant is still going strong after all these years under the fine leadership of Pastor Newton.

Furlough presentation

New preaching series at Koinonia

We start a new preaching series at Koinonia called: "Your life, your mission". We are going to be going through II Corinthians. I'm posting the picture I took at a beach near-by that I will use in my power point this Sunday. Makes you want to visit us right? Well, at least pray for us please and that God will give our people more and more of a ministry & missionary mindset.

Easter play results

It will be impossible to measure results, but we can say response was great and people were moved by the production during our four presentations. Dan Cook played the major part of the Apostle John telling about the events from the Gospel story. We calculate that around 650 people were out during those nights. Thanks to all for praying.

Koinonia's Easter Play going on these days

We appreciate any and all prayers for this event. We have the presentation four nights in a row with the capacity of 220 people a night. Our first night went very well and in a little bit we have our second presentation. This event is a great calling card for those who rarely enter a Gospel preaching church. Pray for ongoing results and God's glory in all.
